Songwriter, country artist and former rodeo queen Kylie Frey is a native of Opelousas, Louisiana, with 13 No. 1s on the Texas Radio Chart.
She’s gained national attention with appearances on the Grand Ole Opry and America’s Got Talent, while touring with the likes of Cody Johnson and opening for such acts as Little Big Town. Signed to Carnival Music, she recently celebrated a career milestone when one of her musical heroes, Reba McEntire, recorded and released “One Night in Tulsa,” marking Kylie’s first major-label cut.
She’s currently “Female Artist of the Year” for both Texas CMA Awards and Texas Regional Radio. Next year, she’ll participate in the Your Roots Are Showing conference in Belfast, Northern Ireland followed by The Irish Detour with fellow artist Dee White. Her debut full-length album is expected next summer.
